We have several options to store materials you need for your work at North Forge onsite. If you leave your stuff lying around otherwise, beyond Projects in Progress, your stuff will end up in The Jail.

What you can store here
Temporary Storage
The aim of temporary (shared) storage is for members to store stock for projects that they are actively working on. This way, if a member is working on a project that takes multiple days to complete, they do not have to haul heavy objects in and out of the building. Examples include:
- Temporary Large Sheet Storage
- Temporary Long Lumber Storage
- Member Filament Storage in the 3D Printing Room
- CNC Spoilboard Storage
Please limit your storage only to things that you use on a regular basis.
Member Storage
All items must be stored so as not to interfere with others using the space - do not leave long/pointy/sharp objects protruding from your storage space. If you are storing any chemical, it must comply with WHMIS policies. Flammable materials must always be stored in one of the Flammables Cabinets.
Generally, you should not use North Forge storage for long-term household storage. If we believe that you are storing something long-term that is not related to your North Forge activities (for example large musical instruments), we may ask you to remove it.
