New members need a Safety Orientation before they can use the fablab independently.

The safety orientation provides important information like:

• Location of the safety manual, bulletin boards, and ways to get safety information (like on Slack and http://northforge.ca/safety )

• The location of important safety equipment like PPE, spill kits, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and eye wash stations
