CAM software we use to generate toolpaths for CNC machines.

This is a spot for information about Vectric Aspire.

1. Create new part
   1. Stock setup opens by default
   2. Material X and Y dimensions: align long dimension of stock with X (long) axis of ShopBot for convenience
   3. Material thickness: measure with calipers
   4. Z zero: suggest zero to bottom of stock (top of spoilboard) to reduce impact of measuring errors
2. Import DXF
3. Resize and position DXF
4. Check DXF for open loops
5. Tool setup
6. Pocket cuts
7. Profile cuts
   1. Inside/Outside/On
   2. Tabs
8. Drill
9. Preview
10. Export
    1. SBP inch

* Do we use this for the Tormach 1100 Personal CNC Milling Machine as well? If not, take that out but then we should document what we do use for it. Ttenbergen (talk It can be used for the Tormach but Fusion 360 is better) 23:20, 2024 August 16 (CDT)
