We are required to store SDS information. This documents how the information is stored on the wiki. See SDS for the actual SDS information.

• break out hazards explained in the SDS in the North Forge:Hazard format.

• tools will be able to link to one or more SDS. If a tool has an SDS linked, the hazard will trickle up to the tool via query. It will also trickle up to the room the tool is listed in if it's a room level hazard.

Do rooms need to be able to? EG the ecopoxy resins aren't really linked to a tool. But then again, I had already realized that that will be a problem so had made the arbitrary tool page Ecopoxy Workstation. So, that may be better than allowing an SDS linking to a room directly, but I am open to suggestions on that Ttenbergen (talk) 22:46, 2024 October 13 (CDT)

we could set each tool to list the "Unknown SDS" with a "Unknown Hazard" hazard that escalates ranking in North Forge:Risk Assessment Matrix. Edit the tool and instead apply the "No associated SDS" SDS and that gets hidden and de-escalated. Could help motivate updates. Or could disengage. open to thoughts.
