North Forge supplies eye wash stations for use in case of eye irritation. If you use the eye wash station, please fill out an Incident Report Form.
Use
- Remove the lid
- If only one eye is affected, tilt your head so that the affected eye is lower. This prevents contaminants from being washed into the unaffected eye.
- Hold the bottle against your face over the eye and squeeze.
- While squeezing, move your eyeball around to access as much of the surface as possible.
- If necessary, also raise your eyelids using a finger to dislodge any contaminants under the eyeball.
