The Fablab has several Safety Committee Member Reps (see Safety Committee#Safety Committee Members).
These Safety Committee Member Reps are voted in and can receive up to 12hrs of volunteer time per month based on activities. They usually serve for a term of 2 years.
Responsibilities
- attend pre-meeting Safety Inspection and Emergency Preparedness Drill and be prepared to discuss at meeting
- attend Safety Committee Meetings, at least every 3 months but more often as required
- participates in the review of anything reported via Safety Incident Reporting
- document review or other tasks assigned and agreed to at Safety Committee Meetings
- review and maintain the wiki pages in the Category:Safety
