Lobby Precautions apply

You will be working in the Lobby . In order to keep safe from hazards created by you or other workers using any of the tools in this room, the following precautions apply in addition to any other precautions: The lobby is more publicly accessible than other parts of the fablab, so don't leave items here. It is not considered part of our manufacturing space, so don't do work here that would negatively affect others who are not wearing PPE.

The spill kit is in a bucket next to the steel-toed overshoes near the entrance to the General Assembly Area.

Spill kits at North Forge

  • We have the following spill kits:
  • Use the spill kits to clean up spills of anything other than water
  • Dispose of the used kits appropriately for the hazard of any cleaned up material
  • If you use a spill kit, post on #125-safety Slack channel so we can make sure the kit is re-plenished
  • If the spill created any kind of safety concern, also fill out an Incident Report Form
