** I have been trying to shift pages over to generic names unless the brand name is our main way to refer to a tool, like the Roland. The long names are making lists hard to read on mobile.
* to prevent making evil twins, do a search and also have a look at the contents of the room that already have a page.
* I like your description. We should have a spot for that on all the tools. But for now the template doesn't have that spot, and the work envelope section isn't it. This would reuquire a bunch of changes to [[template:Tool]], [[Form:Tool]] and once the field exists other things like the room template and other lists could get updated to include the description. Or not.

  • When working with any liquids or emulsions (including water, flux, cleaning products, solder paste, etc,) ensure you have paper towels nearby to contain and clean up a spill.
  • When working with any hazardous chemicals or substances (eg. solder paste, flux, cleaning products, etchant, etc) you must wear nitrile gloves and eye protection.
  • Keep flammables, such as isopropyl alcohol, away from sources of heat, such as soldering irons, hot air guns, and PCB preheaters
